Default SOHC NON VTEC ZC, MY 89 HATCH

i put a d16z6 in my 89 hatch but the crank was gone, knocked bad. i bought a new z6 t-belt and put on it when i put the engine in the car, now i

have ordered a ZC/d16a6 engine for my car and was wanting to know if the t-belt will work on the a6?

Even if it does fit, I wouldn't risk reusing a timing belt.

Default RE: timing belt ? a6 z6

the z6 t-belt is new i put the z6 in my car and it ran for about 30 min at most i was hopeing it would fit the sohc non vtec ZC but i counted the teeth

or ribs whatever u want to call it on the belts the z6 was 104 ribs and the ZC was 107, so i went and bought a belt, ive got the engine in the car but

still need to change the oil an filter and put antifreeze in it i just have to go do it, ill take some pics later and post em.

ill just give the z6 belt to my friend for his del sol, 67$ belt wasted.
