how much horsepower can a 1999 Ex handle?

 

lol... how much money do you have??? there;s no real way to tell. do you have the stock motor, are you going for a motor swap? nitrious, turbo? there's a million and one things you can do to that car to make it faster. i sugguest you think about how much horsepower you really want, then go from there... i want 400hp in mine, so, i know what i got to do. just think about how much you want and then built it up from there.

 

are you talking about how much can your stock internals hold?? or just the motor in general after tons of mods?

 

i think you could handle about double OEM horsepower on OEM internals before you risk something

 

also depends HOW GOOD your engine trany is currently.... OR do you plan on rebuilding the motor?

if stock internals and being somewhat high milage or just not taken care of and abused.....
before adding power to a stock motor you need to find out what kinda condition the motor is currently in..

 

mm i did some thinking and i decided to wait a couple months and just buy a 00 si and mod it
i should have at least 20k to fool around with
