SOHCs make more tq
Is it just me or do I see alot of sohc engines making more tq then other engines. I saw a sohc on honda tech that made 254 whp and 297 tq? Why is this.

A more accuratequestion would be, "Why can't SOHCs hold power as well?" This is mostly due to DOHC heads well outflowing D-series heads (can't generalize SOHCs on that one, becauseF-series heads flow well), and also because of the long stroke of D-series' (D16s at least).
