BTW a JDM D15B swap can be had for well under $1000

 

d15b vtec is my next engine

 

no im just saying id love to build a high revving screamer of a D and the D15B would be the engine id start with.

the reason i said NA is because in the end the one i have is gunna be boosted and im gunna go NA on my next car.

 

My engine is not a vtec... Therefore it would be considered a mini me swap. I'm getting the parts saturday, so hopefully by monday everything will be all set. Got the head, im vtec solenoid and all the plugs/etc. for 100 bucks plus shipping. Not too bad, only thing left is go pull the computer and oil pressure plug from the junkyard tomorrow morning. I cant wait to get this thing rollin...

 

wait are you swapping the engine or the head?

 

I'm swapping the head. It is a d15b8 block and a d16z6 head..... I wish I had could do the engine swap...

 

you should look around for a JDM d15b full engine swap. theyre not much more than a z6 head would be.

 

I got all the parts I need for 100 minus the computer... or else I woulda. Definitely was a pretty good deal on that I think...

 

Alright... one last ?... I hope. Am I going to have to get a z6 distributor... or will/ or can I make the one from my d15b8 block work... at least til the middle of next month? I was planning on getting a z6 dist... but i'd rather not be completely broke right now...
