Why not throw the B20B in it? if you can get it for cheap, it will be worth it.... but yeah... if you can afford to get the D-series, and you can get the swap done in a nacceptable amount of time, do it... you would be a sav if you built the hell out of you D series... and boooooooosssstttttt.... hahah

Well, I already have the parts for the mini-me. I'm just waiting on my head bolts. I would love to do that swap... the only question that remains is the distributor...

if you need a dizzy, grab one from a junk yard... they are cheap, and abundant... at least for D series they are

I'm just wondering if the distributor from my d15b8 head will fit on the d16z6 head. I can't find anything to do with a civic in junkyards around me... or even within about a 60 mile radius... And I dont wanna be completely broke right now.

if it is a vtec head, it NEEDS a vtec dizzy.. nothing else will work.... go jack one.... haha... j/k

just keep looking... you will find something.. there has to be a junk yard or something... as long as its OBD1, a VTEC dizzy, and its in good condition, it will work

hmm... I would figure that a vtec dizzy would be different, because the head and the fuel/spark curve functions differently... welll... i guess its true... d-series is a d-series is a d-series.. haha

Well... my head bolts will be here wednesday. I'll give it a shot and let ya know the turnout. Hopefully it'll line up and everything will work right, at least for a few weeks so I can get the right one. I did notice that on advanceautoparts.com. One of the part numbers for the dizzy is the same for both engines... so who knows..

Well, the dizzy from the d15b8 doesnt line up with the z6 head, so looks like i'm in search of a vtec dizzy... grrrrrrrrrrr. Will only the z6 dizzy work or would the d15 vtec one work on it too???
