Honing means..

Boring..

And what a stroker kit is

Boring is the same as "machining"?

honing is just sort of cleaning up the cyl walls and gettin them ready for the new rings that they will seat to when the engine breaks in

boring is making the cyl bigger for taking out imprefections or just making larger for building a engine up

stroker kit would be changing the stroke or size of the engine , example taking a 350ci chevy engine and using a stroker kit to make it a 383ci stroker along with the machine work to complete it
