Spoon motors

I know a little bit about the Spoon Civic and Integra but I was wanting to know what makes them Spoon versions? What type of engines do they have? I know they tach really high like 10 or 11K RPM's.

For the ultimate in endurance racing, Each B-series engine assembly is a JDM Honda longblock straight from Spoon's engine assembly room. Spoon acquires these blocks from Honda Japan and disassembles them. Prior to reassembly, Spoon precision balances and blueprints these longblocks to ensure optimum performance during endurance racing. These long-blocks are blueprinted down to 0.1g. and include a Spoon 2ply. metal headgasket.

it is not advised that you wrap your engine that high unless you want to send your rods into orbit or put a nice window in your block
while it may be capable of doing it that does not mean it should be done unless you dont mind throwin down 6-7k on an engine every other weekend if so I need a loan please. . .

B16A ENGINE ASSEMBLY -- $5,880.00
B16B ENGINE ASSEMBLY -- $6,125.00
B18C ENGINE ASSEMBLY -- $6,370.00

You know, with the prices of new cars these days, $6400 for a Spoon B18C doesn't sound that ridiculous to me.
