Squeaking. Hmm... check your belts. Make sure they are the right tension and not rubbing on anything. Look for excessive wear.

RE: squeeky noise

I had squeaky noise coming from the drivers side on my 97 civic and I thought it was belt. I had the belt repaired to the right tension...but then I still had the noise and before I could find what the problem is, my A/C compressor blew out..it just broke into pieces. Check your A/C compressor. (I had to spend around 650 dollars to get it replaced!!)
