Default swap price comparison ?'s

Any help deeply appreciated……………..I’ve read over and over again how it’s much cheaper to go ls/vtec or maybe change out cams/pistons etc…on a b18b versus a b18c swap. Since I’m going from a d15b7, I need a full swap. The biggest difference I’ve seen so far on a full swap b18b vs. b18c1 is about 1300.00. but once I factor in the upgrades to a b18b the price difference goes down to within a few hundred bucks, which makes me think I rather go with the original b18c than building up a b18b. how do you guys do it, I want to save some cash, but if the difference is minor, I’d go full b18c swap. thanks

go b18c. its a better motor to begin with, even if you dont look at power output. its better balanced, higher revving, closer gear ratios, available LSD, big beefy main girdle, and piston oil squirters.
