Got a question. My 87 year old mom has a 99 civic ex with 80k miles that was totaled recently. She loves that car. I found a 98 lx civic with a bad engine that would make a great recipient of her engine and trans. I think the ex has vtec, but I don’t know about the proposed donor body. What I’m wondering is it a straight swap or will I have computer and wiring issues. I don’t know if the 98 lx has the vtec wiring, or can I just swap the computer.
