Swap Time! where to buy from?
 
I am ready to do a swap! I am either getting a B16b or a B18C5!! Where is the best place to buy from online?? Cheapest?? Good quality?? THanks alot

^^not nearly as good as sunrise per say but they'll include mounts and install a type-r LSD for you for like 300 bucks.

ps. why b18c5? why not the gsr?

The C5 has a higher compression ratio and if your considering FI, it might not be the best choice. Plus it is way more expensive, i think its around 4k and the C1 is around 2500. For the extra 1500, you could buy some sweet internals for boosting at a later time.

Yeah, go GSR. The C5 might have more horses stock, but youre gonna have better luck with after market stuff if you go with the C1.

kk....hrmm...I like the GSR price better but i dont have anyone here in BFE Iowa to do the internals....wat do you guys think about the B16b? Yay or Nay?

Nay. It's essentially a GSR with less torque and a higher price tag. They don't take well to boost on stock internals, since the compression ratio is so freakin' high. Unless you're building it to be a one-of-a-kind show car or you're planning to do some serious work on it ($5-10k+) it's not going to do you any favors. That said, it's an awesome engine.
