honestly, your money is best spent elsewhere. get a y8 manifold/intake and call it a day. you will notice very little if any power gain. the one thign that will change from a bigger TB/different manifold would be throttle response. if you want power look into some mini-me swap, a bigger cam, valvetrain, etc.

You will gain a decent amout with the Y8 IM. It's worth it.

actually Nail im reeeeeeeeeeeally feeling the mini-me swap lately. I dont even know what VTEC feels or sounds like so if you could hook me up with a link to a thread about the mini-me swap, id highly appreciate that. Like a thread that lists all the compnents you will need to do the swap, and maybe even a How-To guide. Thanks

thats a very good writeup. its written for a mini-me conversion on a 5G (a b7 w/ a z6 head) but the process is essentially the same. just replace all the d16z6's in there with d16y8.
