throttle body spacer??? is this true?

Hello I was searching around for performance parts and ran across this one. Are these gains true? Its a throttle body spacer that they claim gets gains in performance throughout the power band and up to 4 mpg........either Im smoking something or this is a bunch of hog wash

RE: throttle body spacer??? is this true?

On our little Honda engines, No. But on much bigger engines like on truck, they can. Sadly, our engines aren't a responsive to really any bolt-ons. But, I think that that is because the parts were all made as close to efficient as they could straight from the factory.

ya it might help A TINY BIT, but only on the BUTT DYNO...

but no way in hell it could get up to 4MPG more.LOL

but ya like said they are mainly better on LARGER motors.....
i know i heard alot of people saying they work on like my old truck to help performance and it was mainly because the spacer was between the injectors and intake manifold, BUT with our civics the fuel injectors are REALLY close to the intake valves. so the gas is still mixed with air and atomized really good when its injected into the motor.
they work beter on throttle body injector systems TBI not on multipoint injector systems.

it MIGHT help if ya have NOS in the intake manifold but thats just hypothetical.....
