Well plethoric33,
If I suspect something is up with a car when I get it, I park that baby up until I figure out everything inside out. You can consider me a google ***.
I lookup everything. I ask questions on forums and while I wait for the answers I'm searching too. The thing I like too is that the dam parts are so inexpensive.
I mean performance, you don't wanna go cheap on.
Safety first is my motto.

I'm glad you were able to find the part, and get the right info from hasport. Put up some pics of the level motor once done!

i'm so excited...new headers on the way, getting my engine leveled. Imma tear up the streets soon.....well....i can't really tear up the streets with 150hp....lol
But yeah i'll definitely post up the pics with it leveled and the new shiny headers in and my A/C should be running too.
This summer is gonna be hella hot.
I'm taking down my valve pan while I'm at it and I'll get it sprayed red. Maybe candy apple red.

Wait... how many headers did you buy??? lol..... you have one header.

150hp? What motor is in there again?

Although I am not 100% sure, if you are running lom comp. pistions without turbo, won't that hurt your performance?

nah...i was just throwin that number out there.
I'm not sure how many hp she would be giving me now.
I'm not to concerned with performance right now.
I just need a perculator right now.
Once she pretty, that's good enuff.
All show and no go is good enuff........
Who the hell am i foolin.
But yeah the setup is like this:

9:1 Compression Ratio; was a 9.6:1 CR
Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
4-2-1 Headers
2.75" Straight Exhaust
Exedy Stage 3 Racing Clutch
Short Shifter
AEM Short Ram Intake.

IDK.....How much you all think I can get outta that set up?

Ok....so half the battle is done.
I know what the problem is but I have hit a bump in the road.
It appears that the bracket is welded to the chasis soooo....i gatta get the dam bracket welded.
I knew it was to good to be true.

What did you change to make the compression go from 9.6:1 to 9:1? That's actually a pretty nice list of mods you have there. Is this on a d16z6? Did you already buy the header? I have no clue how much HP you would be pushing out, but I always thought if you're running no boost with low comp. pistons, you will sacrifice performance.

9.1 to 10.1 is usually around stock comp for most vehicles.

As you can see he does not have a stock motor set up. Nothing to my knowledge has been changed internally to effect compression. I was wondering why it was changed.

Ninja edit... I do know that stock compression is around 9.5:1 or so for D series. I just realized he simply stated his stock compression and what he has in the car currently. I thought he had changed it (the compression ratio). It was 9.6:1 prior to the mods.
