Tuning tips, help please.

Ok, I've got some of my parts together and Im really close to putting them on. Here's the deal, I have a D16z6 with: AEM CAI, DC 4-2-1 header, de cat pipe and a cat back, the following will be going on, Skunk2 intake manifold with a 68mm throttle body portmatched, also I have a fuel pressure regulator, and a cam gear that I will use to bump up the compression to 10:1. Here are the tuning questions, when I advance timing 18* BTDC I know I have to use 91 octane, but do I lose any low end by increasing comp? Also with the fuel pressure regulator how much PSI can I put on the stock 240 CC injectors to work well with the mods? I was thinking like 44-45 PSI, I don't want to run too rich or too lean I don't know how many PSI would be ideal. Any advice any one?

if it were me i would just do trial and error........raise it a few psi and see how it runs.......repeat.

sorry, ive been busy lately;) but the 240s will be fine. dont push the pressure too high, or you will get one of the pintles stuck, and then you will go through fuel like a V-8. and have a huge loss of power. and the cam gear cant actually raise the compression, it just changes the timing of the cam events. with a cam gear on a sohc, youll pretty much just move the powerband up and down. but you will find the place that makes it feel the best. put on the fuel gauge and record the pressure at stock, then put on the regulator and set it at stock to start, then adjust it about 2psi at a time until you notice power start to drop off. a gtech would be a good investment if you cant afford a wideband O2 or get to a dyno.
