Turbo or not

What's up. I just decided I wanna upgrade my civic, but I'm not sure if I wanna go N/A or turbo. I got a 98 civic ex and all thats on it now is a c.a.i. I'm sure it would be cheaper to go N/A, buti'm wanting atleast 250 whp when its said and done. Would it be wiser to go turbo? If so, what internals would i need to change to turbo it? I appreciate your input. Oh, and let me know if you know of a cheap turbo kit.

if you go boost, you could prolly make 250 for like $1500-$2000. Make power N/A is expensive, but to get to 250 you might wanna rebuild the interals just for reliability, which would bump the price up a bit.

an h22a swap would give you close to 200 hp and some mad torque, noticably better than our little D series. They can be had for quite cheap i think, probably a bit less than the boost i mentioned earlier. There was one going for like $800 on the HCF classifieds not too long ago, maybe check it out.

250 to the wheels... if price is a factor then definitely look to boost, or build the motor and throw a 100 shot of nitrous at it. Nitrous is good for track cars and bragging rights, but the power isnt there during daily driving conditions which sucks.
