Underdrive pulley keyway problems

Hey i just buy and lightweight underdrive pulley, when installing i realize that the key that goes in the keyway is bigger than the pulley's keyway, can i grind it or do something to make the key fits there?????

leave your stock pulley on... its called a "harmonic balancer" because it "HARMONIOUSLY BALANCES" Lol?? notice the rubber inside the pulley? that keeps everything from vibrating out of control

you are better off selling that little p.o.s. on ebay again and buying a mod somewhere else

just my 2cents

Yea if you are talking about the crank pully then throw it on ebay because it will eventually be the death of your engine.

is not that bad the keyway fist but its tight i think about grinding it a bit so it will fit not too loose not too tight

are you serious??

it wont be balanced if you "grind" it and your motor will be laughing at you in the near future as you are sitting on the side of the road. Pulleys are the absolute worst mod for an econo 4-cylinder motor. Take the above advice and buy a different mod if you are looking for power... it will be the most expensive 2hp increase you will ever pay for.

Dude, stop replying to dead threads.
