we just swapped in a gsr in our hatch and when we crank it it starts reving up all of a sudden and wonderin why is it doing that. if somebody could help us out here would be much appreciated.

does it just rev high and stay, or does it go up and down?? Check all your vaccum lines

check the fast idle valve(sensor) or TPS sensor ive seen them both cause something like that
