upgrading a 99 ex

i just installed a new performance exhaust system on my ex and plan to get a cold air intake soon. is there anything else i can do to upgrade my horsepower? its an automatic with the d16y8 engine. i think it might be too much to swap the engine, are there any smaller things i can do to upgrade it?

thanks

There isn't really much you can do to D series to make considerable power unless you go boost, which I would not suggest if you have an Automatic transmission. The AT cannot handle much additional power from what I have seen. An exhaust and intake will get you about 3-5 hp at most.

You could always swap to MT, would that be something you would be interested in doing by chance?

whats the difference between automatic and manual that a automatic cant handle it?
and it would depend on how much it would cost swap it and how hard it would be
