Default URGENT HELP REQUIRED!!!

Hey there,

I'm working abroad, so I thought I'd lend my civic to Mrs jam29451 whilst I was away. Turns out, she's broken her.

The symptoms are:

1. Struggles to start (replaced battery, still same problem)
2. High revs, whilst in neutral.
3. Cuts out when at junctions.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

my friends did something like this before but it did start fine... his just reved up to about 2500 rpms when idle. It turned out to be some kind of vaccum thing. Not sure if that helps or you know exactly what im talking about. But if you know about some vaccum things then you can try that.

Yeah, sounds like a vacuum issue. Maybe PCV. Is the idle up and down or just high? What do you mean stuggles to start?

check the TB gasket. the one between the TB and the IM. they could ntot be completely sealed and that will cause the high idle.
