V tec cylinder head

Hey i was wanting to know if i can put a vtec cylinder head on a non vtec block? i have a d15b2, and was wondering what cylinder head to use.

the answer is yes, you can stick a vtec head onto a non-vtec block but not in all situations.

as for your specific type of engine. I'll defer to the d-series enthusiasts in here.

Z6 will give best performance. Y8 will give best gas mileage.
