Default v-tec and transmission swap

would it be possible for my 1997 honda civic lx, to swap my non v-tec engine with a v-tec and switch my automatic transmission to a manual transmission?

yes its possible. but rather difficult and a lengthy process. engine will drop right in but the auto to manual conversion in my opinion isn't worth it. Id sell the lx and find myself a two door coupe (mainly because I like them better than the hatches) definately an si if you want to spend a little more then you'd have a b16

haha big mick i like your avatar thingy. I do like the ek civic though don't get me wrong. but for the conversion won't he have to do some firewall and floor tunnel modification to fit the clutch assembly and shift linkage? or was I misinformed?
