Valve float

What are the effects of valve float? No mid or top end power?

Installed stage 2 cam the other day and now i have worse power than before. Power cutsoff at around 3500. No pull. Could this be valve float? Ignition timing? Not enough fuel?

valve float is when you are revving so high your valve springs are to weak to close the valve in time and your valve smacks your piston bending it

is your timing set correctly? have you put a timing light on a car?

Should have ur car tuned after a stage 2 cam

I agree with the tune but i shouldnt feel a LOSS in power. And i know what valve float is too i just was wondering if i was "feeling" it. My power drops off. And i set my timing when i rebuilt my engine
