VTEC KICK IN EARLY?
 

I HEARD THAT YOU CAN CHANGE AT WHAT REVS YOUR VTEC KICKS IN? IS THIS TRUE AND HOW WOULD YOU DO IT? AND WHATS A PIGGYBACK ECU AND I WANT TO PUT AIRBAGS ON WHAT YOU RECKON THE HANDLING WILL BE LIKE AND WHERE CAN I GET THE FEELS WIDE ARCH KIT FOR MY CIVIC EG 92 VTI? sorry for all the questions this seems to be the only place where people tryand help.

to finally ask your question...yes. Jackson racing makes the best in my opinion. it changes the rpm and the fuel and timing to go with it. i love mine and would recommend it to anyone. mounted mine in the dash next to my stereo in my little cubby and it looks great. it turns blue when the VTEC kicks in and will impress anyone riding with you.

i have a black apexi vafc2 that is made for adjusting vtec air fuel and vtec.....it also displays rpm, throttle, vtec, and warning light and shift light.....im trying to sell it for 200 shipped... pm me if your interested....i think that apex makes one of the best for vtec controllers

clean98ex, i would love to see a picture of ur thingy turning blue when the btec kicks in. i had no idea that that was even possible.

i'll try to do it tonite if not i will have it in my new gallery i hope to have up next week. it is awesome. one time i had a buddy in the car that had no idea what it was. the road was wet and as soon as i got into second he asked what it was. i said watch and at 4500 rpm both fronts broke loose and the engine just screamed. he says, oh man that was awesome, what is that. I said, that my friend is what we honda guys like to call VTEC!!! he replied, oh i got to get me some VTEC. now he is the proud owner of a b16 del sol that is equipped with the JR VTEC controller.!
