more power UP TOP. you prolly wont have more power down low, but depending on the head you swap on you might cuz it could increce compression a bit

V-Technical answers?

The vtec head flows better than the nonner in the first place, so even if the Variable valve and lift Timing Electronic Control were disengaged you would still see some gains. There is a sticky on here somewhere that explains the concept with a video if you wanna look around for it.

As far as differences- the biggest will be power. It's a good 20 Hp over the nonner, as well as continued torque into the rpm's where the nonner would normally drop like a rock.

Are you swapping engines or just the head? Becasue with the head swap you will also get just a smidge more compression over the stock vtec.

Doesn't the VTEC engine rev higher also?
