i have a d16z6 engine what would be a good engine swap?

 

thatd make it a 5th gen Si right? for a 5th gen the most saught after engines are the B16A1 and the B18C1

 

if u really wanna get hard core, k20a2

 

actually, the b16a2-3 are drop ins for the 5th gens. the a1 can be a PITA.

 

with your experience what do you recommend the b16a1 or the b16a2 or 3? by the way i have an automatic and was also going swap that for a manual.

 

2 or A3. call a honda recycler and ask them for the conversion stuff youll need. some of it will come with the swap, like the shift linkage, the trans, the slave cylinder, and the ecu. but youll need a master cylinder, a pedal assembly, the lines to the slave, the shifter itself, and probably one or two more little things.

lol umm sacicons "PITA" i think you meant to say "PUTA" but anyways yes go for the b-series motor there really fun once you get them in. and the manual conversion i suggest you take your time on it cause i've seen ohbiskits do it to his civic and it didnt seem that hard but your going to run into a few brain bustas. anyways good luck on the swaps.
