What I learned about DIY tuneups...
helms is great, you can buy it, but there is a link somewhere on this site where you can download it for free on adobe. I use my haynes most of the time, but if i need somthing really really specific i refer to my free downloaded copy

i would buy that book, those things from the dealers are over a $100 easily and are the best book you can buy for your car. Im still looking for a 96-00 civic one. Anybody have any leads?

it's only 96 - 98, but hope that helps...
I do what t34me does. I actually have 3 paper copies of haynes/chilton's for my car because I got 2 from the previous owners of my civic/crx. It's just so much easier to have a paper copy. I suppose I can see how a detailed paper manual like helms would be great to have. Most of the time, Chilton's is more than enough detail for me, though.
