what parts for N/A B16
I am thinking about getting a B16. What parts should i put in it if i want to run non-turbo? I want it to be reliable. Should i put internals on it? what should i get?
well since i am gonna swap the motor out. Haven't found the civic i want and i haven't picked up the motor but im looking into it for winter or spring. let me know if i need all this or if it is useless to put on. This is both bolt on and internal. intake manifold, throttle body, connecting rods, springs +retainers, camshaft, cam gears, plugs and wires, flywheel, clutch, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, valves, header, pistons. miss anything? do i need anything else? should i chip my ecu?
i ment the b16 makes all its power up top unless you stroke the motor out. The motors arnt a whole lot of fun under 5000rpm. With a nice flowing head the motor will really make MORE power up top and longer higher into its rev. I ment it as when you hit vtec and higher you will be glad you have a kicka$$ flowing head that the motor loves
port/polish, supertech valvetrain, milling, valve seals, some N/A cams, good header, good intake manifold/TB, intake, high comp pistons, I-beam rods, good tune. you could hit probably 200-220whp depending on how its built
