Default What plugs do you run ?

I just ordered some gen. honda plugs for our newer CR-V and was surprised to learn that they are made by NGK. I have always run NGK-R's in my streetbikes and other 4 cylinder engines. I am currently running some Autolites from autozone in my civic, but thinking since NGK is stock of swapping back to some NGK plugs.

Any of you had good luck with any other brands, or favor one over the other? Figured I would start a discussion thread on the topic, if there isn't one already. I failed to use search before typing this, ha ha.

K-thanks

I've used Bosch 4+ Platinum and they ran stronger than NGK-R's.

We are talking about a CR-V. Theguy probably doesnt want to spend $60 on plugs.

Better just go with OEM NGK plugs. You will find that over allthe best bang for your buck will be that!

NGK is honda's oem spark plugs and if you read your motor or your manual it will tell you to use them.

I ran Bosch plugs in all my cars after I owned my BMW. It had pretty much Bosch everything. However I also noticed that it kind of sucked power over the stock plugs. I really don't get into all this platnium 4 tip crap. You only need 1 spark, who cares if it has 4 places to land.

Seems like a scam to me to suggest that these crazy plugs are going to actualy improve much without an ignition.

The engine in my CR-V is a hoss, it hauls *** to be honest. I want it to be in top shape, as we tend to drive it like a car. I kinda wish I could cram it into my civic.

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess I will role NGK-R's and just live.
