Ok right now i have three different motors, two of them sitting at my shop (d16y5 and a d16y8 ) and the one in my car d15 stock for dx civics. what would happen if i put a v-tech cam from a b16y5 in my d15? Im doing alittle research so while i send these motors out to be done i have something to play around with now.

 

ehhh...don't try that...if the Y8 is yours, I'd work that and put it in...

 

+1 on the Y8. Solid motor.

 

I'll tell what will happen, you will not be able to physicly fit the Y5 cam in the D15 head. In other words it would not run and when trying to start it the valves would be stuck open and your pistons will slam into them.
