What's all in a head?
 

o.k. I have a 2000 civic ex with a d16y8 and I hear about people building there head. I know some what about what there talking about but still not everything. So does anyone know what is all done in building a head I'm looking into doing it. And if so what parts and brands does everyone reccomend. Thanks in advance everyone.

building a head completely usually means: new valves, retainers, springs, cams (gear and shaft), resurfaced, ported/polished, three angle valve job, maybe new rockers in some cases.
