What's better?

So in the long run what would be the better way to go for modding... turbo and all that eventually. B16 or B18... Ease of modding and price and stuff plays a part... personal thoughts and your comments would be a great help

what model civic have you got. depending what goes. the b16a2 and b18c are only 10hp difference, weight is almost the same but for the b16a2 the parts are alot more interchangeable with type R parts, i got the b16a2. alot more cheaper to, i chucked on some headers, cold air intake, exhaust and type R cam for the same price as to do the b18 swap.

RE: What's better?

I still say the GSR is the best Honda motor for turbocharging. More low-end for the pre-spool pull, and a lower CR for higher initial boost levels...

RE: What's better?

aside from the b16a1 the GSR has the most aftermarket support of any engine out there for the civic

very tru.

RE: What's better?

and there is almost no real difference in the aftermarket support. really the only difference is that the type r intake manifold wont fit on the gsr head. thats about all i can think of anyway.

RE: What's better?

yeh i think thats the only difference.
