Ok, vitaras are ordered, so now its just what i mount them on. Whats the stronger rod- JDM D15B, or D16A6. No, i do not have money for forged rods, i have these to work with.

If it were me id get the JDM D15 rods, Get them shotpeened......its cheap and goes a long way as far as strenght

 

so there is a difference in the rods?? And yes, whichever ones i decided to go with will be shotpeened

 

i was under the impression that D15B rods were the same as D16 rods.

 

i am 99% sure they are

 

I was to, thats why im wondering why he said the JDM over the A6.

 

I just know for a fact the JDMD15 is a great motor for boost, much better than the A6, so I assumed the rods would be better.

ok, well, i guess im mounting vitaras on the A6 rods since the look brand spanking new. Just need to shot peen them now.

 

Sorry to have to ask this, but is "shot peening" just sand blasting with metal *****?
