where do i find the engine code?

Hello i want to know where the engine code is on the engine being i just bought the car and suspect it doesnt have the engine its sopposed to any help appreciated

There is a little flat spot on the block just to the left of the exhaust manifold that looks like that pic...

Just kidding. It will look like that but it'll say something like D16Z6 or D15Y7 or if your lucky B16A. What kind of car is it and we can tell you what it's supposed to have.

i found it one of my buddies is a honda lover so he showed me where its a 1993 Civic Si HB the engine code is D16Z6

That's the stock 5G Si engine. It's kosher.

pulls pretty sweet i need to fix the axles tho do these come with abs or not?

I'm not positive, but I think only the EX and LX had ABS in the 5G's.
