where should i start off with my civic?

Default where should i start off with my civic?

i got a 95 civic dx, and an extra approx 1000$ to throw in the engine right away
what should i invest it in?

well is it auto or manual?
do you want more power out of your d" series motor?
are you going to do the mech work?
do you want the motor to look good?

Assuming it's a manual, I'd vote intake, header, cat-back exhaust, short-throw shifter, and a lightweight flywheel.

If it's an automatic, 5-speed swap.

If it's an automatic, drop in a JDM D15B complete swap and convert to manual. It may cost you a little tiny bit over $1000 though, total.
