wiring problems with b16a in 93 civic.
i bought a 92-95 JDM b16a Gen2 (http://www.japanmotorimport.com/JDM_...16A%20G2_92-95)and im throwing it into a 93 civic HB. what do i need to make the wiring work with the ecu in terms of that whole obd1/2 stuff. should i replace the harness and ecu or buy one of those conversion adapters. i want it to be obd1 for tuning reasons. i also want to be able to hook up a APEXi VAFC once the motor is in.
Thanks - Dan |

Youre already OBD1 and you are throwing in an OBD1 engine. Am I missing something?

RE: wiring problems with b16a in 93 civic.
it says on that site you listed that its obd1. the only way to convert it to obd 2 on a b16 is to swap out the oil pump for a 99-00 oil pump and put the Crankshaft position sensor in, put the obd2 dist on, and the obd2 computer in. i know this b/c i am in the process of putting it all in my 99 si with a obd1 GSR swap so i can get rid of it
