The relay in my photo looks a bit different then the one in your diagram but I assume it must be the main relay because I don't see anything else that resembles a relay on the driver side under the dash. Cheers! Thanks RonJ... you sure live up to the "Noob Helper" name!

I found the ECU and the window to the LED but it did not blink. I tried the key in all positions without any luck.
Should I replace the relay anyway? Does 0 blinks indicate and ECU problem?

 

Ok... so my honda dealer told me that it is part number RZ0063 and that is what it looks like in the previously posted drawing.

This is what my relay looks like:

I am pretty sure that my engine with a Canadian 1990 Honda Civic Si has the D16A engine.

What is the correct part number?

 

that one in the picture is not the main relay, its only a four prong relay. the main that is pictured by itself is some where above it ...i made the mistake of ordering the relay you had picture just above the hood release...fixed nothing in my 89 civic si. im going to get a new main relay and replace that. i would tell you where it is but my is hanging loosely above the other relay so not sure where its supposed to be

 

so i literaly just went out, pulled the main relay out of my car. Resolder all the points on the board, plugged the **** back in, started it up and drove off.

if u know how to solder find that relay under ur dash and resolder the points on it. should be a quick fix for you.

The main (fuel pump) relay is located above the one in my previous photo. It is attached to the other side of the metal bracket that you see in the picture and the extention arm on the relay itself puts it about 4" up under the dash attached to the drivers side kick panel area. Get you head under there and looks staight up. I removed the fuse panel under the steering wheel, the small "change tray" with 3 screws (one at rear and two inside at the front), and the lower dash screw to gained access to the relay.
Not only did you guys save me the money for Honda tell me that there was no ECU code you also saved me the cost of 2 new relays! Thanks again and I hope this thread helps out some other members.
