would a 1998 D16 Y8 Honda Civic EX SOHC V-tec intake manifold fit on my 95 d15 non vtec? and wouldit help any?

A friend of mine is trying to do that as we speak, and it's been a bit of a bumpy road. Just do some major research before diving into the project.

i think that all d-series intake manifolds fit all d-series heads

It will fit fine and help a good bit, I happen to have a spare Z6 manifold if you are looking for one. It is nearly the same as the Y8 one and is from the same generation civic as yours
