ive done some review on the 4 but cant find any on the 5. mostly everone loves XTD havent read a bad report yet. my throw out bearing is gone to **** in my B18 and ive jus bought it so im not sure how old my clutch is.

I would stay away from XTD IMO and go for something a little more reputable like Competition Clutch, or ACT. I have a competition clutch stage 2 set-up and love it.

have u ever driven a XTD? Im jus doin a little research b4 i drop cash and my tranny lol but i heard bad things about ACT springs b breaking.

There's a reason an XTD clutch is like $100 where as a Clutch Master's is $400. An xtd clutch will be burnt out and start slipping wayyyyy before a Clutch Master's or Competition or ACT. My friend had a cheap clutch on his boosted d16 and the clutch was worn down and slipping within a few 1000 miles. I'd rather go with a good brand and pay extra, wouldn't want to have to do a clutch again lol.

Yeah stay away from XTD. You get what you pay for.

Really? When I looked them up, I saw just as many complaints as people saying they were fine.....seems like people trust their flywheels more than the clutches

^This. And btw I do have an XTD flywheel (but OE Exedy clutch). It's fine for me, but that's cause I have a stock y7 and it's gonna stay that way

If you do go with them, get the kit that's a step above what you need. If you need a stage 3, get a 4. Just to be on the safe side
