zc motor questions
 

I just got a new project car. its a 97 hatch with a sohc ZC motor. does anyone know anything about this motor? i have a d16y8 engine and trans just sittting at my house, would the vtec head go on the ZC motor if i used the y8 ecu and top end? what exactly is a ZC motor?

zc are d series motors but they are dohc. No the head will not work on the zc block. I might be wrong but i thought zc were obd0 and the d16y8 should be obd2, so the ecu would not work either.
