Default whats the best engine swap for an 05civic?

i really wanna make my civic fast and i guess ppl tell me that the best way to make it fast is to turbo it, or is it better if i swap the engine??? but how much would it b to swap the engine and what kinda engine?????

If you keep your D17 you will never win... unless you take on your grandmother in a KIA... If you have the money you can put in an F-16 jet engine in your car like that guy in CA with his Beetle... You could literally put anything in your car if you had money... but K series is the more logical... you do k20 or k24 and turbo look to drop 10 grand if not more.

Turboing your ex will still lose to a k20 n/a I am pretty sure about it...

screw an f-16 engine they are too big and use thruse, get a yellow tagged alision 250 - 450 shaft hp, and it weights about 200 pounds. and its small enough to stuff in you engine bay still, and power the front wheels.

i would go with a k24!..or a k20 would be fine too!

Thats not true. A boosted d17 with built internals can handle up to 300 hp.
