My wife has a 2017 Civic. We purchased it in Huntington NY.

It threw a code and because we live near Riverhead, we brought it to Riverhead Honda. I told them we purchased a 100,000 mile 10 year Honda Warrantee. They said it was not good in Riverhead. Shocked I called Huntington Honda. I asked about this and they said it was true. Riverhead did not have to honor it.

That seems incredulous to me. If I buy a Honda and decide to move out of state that voids my warrantee? Did I unknowingly buy a dealer specific Warrantee?

Any help appreciated.
