Hey, i own a 1992 honda civic LX and recently i was running low on fuel, the pin was dropping below E, but no light had come on. i was wondering, where the hell is it on my car?!?! Pictures to follow.

 

Check the bulb. From my experiences, the low fuel light has never come on. I have owned 3-4 Civics within the past 10 years, too.

 

Mine doesn't work either. Fuses are all okay but I haven't gotten the cluster out to check the bulb yet, so that's my next stop.

Anybody got any other tips of things to check for this type of issue?

 

I have the same problem with my civic too, more than likely a bulb, if you chech the manual (if you have one it should state how much fuel is in your car before the light comes on). Old eg civic gave me a warning when I had about 4.5 ltrs left in there

 

I have multiple clusters and none of them have working bulbs then I guess lol I'll look into it today when I am working on the car.

 

same here, never seen my gas light go off when I did run it on E a couple times. Was hoping to see it come on, but it never did.

 

92-95 civics don't have a low fuel light. My 95 Si didn't. My 99 SiR does. I believe it was added in 96.
