1993 Civic ex sedan hp?
 

I looked around on the web and they say my 1993 civic ex sedan has 125 hp but they say its a v tec engine in the ex...my engine does not say v tec on the valve cover...whats up with this,and how much hp do i have?

You do not have a vtec, 94 was the first year for them. Sorry I don't have the exact hp for it though.

my 93 ex is a Z6 with a 9k tach and a 8k rev limit, and its kinda peppy. Ive looked at some car manuals and they say mine is vtec.[>:]are u sure it isn't 125

My ex is peppy also...it must be 115 hp...My 93 5 speed ex sedan beats my cousins 96 audi a4(Auto 2.8) until around 100 mph,then he starts to gain...not bad for a car that has just over 100 hp,and not great for a car with 178hp!!!

you could find the engine code, then look it up to actually figure out the ratings of your motor.
