1995 civic
Yes, its the first one next to the fuel filter hose. Its leaking pretty bad. I don't know why I didn't see that before. Now that explains why I burn gas so fast and I don't seem to get half of the mileage I am suppose to get.
I don't know Trust. I reread through the posts, and there seems to be a lot of potential work ahead for FRZ. In addition, FRZ has now driven the car, but he hasn't updated us on how the engine and transmission performed and on any new obvious issues that would need to be fixed. My overall impression is that this Civic has been abused and neglected.
Another question. how hard is it to replaced the radiator support assembly. I thought I could just unbolted it from a used car and then bolt it onto mine but, I was told that it is soldered on also. Is that something only a body shop can do?
LOL ROFL, soldered? I think you mean welded. Anyways yes its welded on and will be a bitch to take off if you dont have the proper tools.
Yeah. So I guess that's body shop work.
I am not sure if I answered this but, one of the problems I am having when driving is that the car goes very slow uphill. On the highway it can slow down to as much as 30 to 20 mph. And just recently it seem to have difficulty picking up after a stop, for example after waiting at a red light, stop sign or stopping to make a turn. The car seem to get stuck on 1000 rpm. At two turns to an uphill road, the car crawled almost to a stop and moved very slow, possibly 5-10 mph before it finally picked up speed. That happened after I've nearly drove the car 80 miles drive to PA. I haven't had any over heating issue since the last time but, after the long drive when I came to a stop the car seem like it was over heating then the meter went back down after I pulled off again. So I am wondering if that have anything to do with the car not being able to pick up speed after a stop and if this could be cause by exhaust system choking the car, the cat maybe or could this be a transmission problem?
Edit: oops, I meant d16y7.
