that video is of highly modified civics witha B series engine swap and turbo....
how can you get that power...swap your engine...build it...tune it...

Exactly.

And VTEC should not "kick". It is a smooth engagement.

dohc vtec engagement has alot stronger pull then a sohc vtec engine.

idk man

about it being smooth...i no you say that, and you've told me no ALOT!

but my vtec in my d16y8 i couldnt feel, in my jdm d15b i felt and it freaked me out, and my buddy hatch with an ls-vtec it scared me,

OP, if you want to feel your vtec, swap your engine out, like 94civichatchback
said to do. other then that, your stuck with your engine intell you start building

If the engagement is abrupt and you feel it "kick" then something is not right.

The sound of the engagement can be abrupt with nothing being wrong. It can also be loud as f*ck with nothing being wrong.

You just shouldn't be jolted physically when it engages.

LOL I didnt watch video not even wasting my time but wow OP, just WOW, you thought the car in the video was a stock civic? lol Your civic is slow, and will most likely stay that way, takes lots of money to swap/build/tune..

And trust is right, the engine does get super loud in DOHC Vtec, but it doesnt pull like you just hit a nitrous button, search vtec just kicked in yo on google, you will see all the funny pics im too lazy to post.

vtec is not a turbo, it is not for extra power, and it will not put you back in your seat when it engages....

if you really want it to kick get nitrous!

or a turbo...
