I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall (long legs and torso). I fit totally fine in my 1988 civic hatch (with about 1 inch head room when normal seat incline is used) and comfortable leg room. The same thing in a 1998 civic hatch (although had more head and leg room because the seat was also height adjustable). I am just wondering, would I be wasting my time purchasing a 1st or 2nd gen civic as far as my height is concerned? Are those earlier civics smaller inside (head and leg room) or would these be comparable to the 88 hatch for instance? Thanks in advance for your replies.
