It all depends on the way it's been cared for! But be prepared to spend some money on it...

Like foress said, it depends on the maintenance and use. I have 315k on my trucks engine and the engine is one of the few parts i have problems with. It took a little TLC to keep it going strong since it hit 200k but I am a mechanic with too much time on my hands so it gets alot of attention.
Ask for a service or maintenance record and it will give you some clue into how it was cared for and always remember that the sellers will always make their car seem much better than it actually is. So be skeptical and ask a lot of questions, if they give you vague answers, walk away. it might not be worth it.
