I am getting ready to get a new civc and I'm not sure if I should spend more and just get an Si or if I should spend less and then spend the money and do upgrades. I'm not really sure which way I should go. Any suggestions would help a lot. Thanks. So far this forum seems like it'll be great. Keep it up.

 

its way easier to just get the SI. it comes with power everything, the B16a motor, 4wheel disc brakes (with upsized front rotors) and upgraded spring rates and sway bars. with a good set of tires, an otherwise stock SI is a screamer, and it just gets better from there.

an ex will run what? a couple grand less than an si? the motor swap alone will cost about double that. go with the SI.

 

Good to know. I'll have to start looking for an Si. Any recomendations are far as upgrades that woold boost the power?

no way. a cold air intake. once you hear that growl of the DOHC VTEC motor through an intake, it changes something inside of you. cmon Leviii, youre telling me you dont miss that? mister turbo.
