^ You haven't noticed the yellow speed limit signs below turn ahead signs? That's the turn's recommended speed.
I don't have turn ahead signs in my area. All stop lights, stop signs, or yield signs. lol

there has to be some, if not its probably around 30 mph. Trailers have to go slower because they can easily tip over

there isn't any locally here in jacksonville, nc and there were none that I could remember in maumee/toledo/perrysburg, OH.

And before you mentioned that I thought you or whoever was talking about speed limits on u-turns and just general turning at intersections, not around a curved road.

I think the guy meant on/off ramps of highways/interstates. That is where I see the recommended speed for the ramp. I always try to DOUBLE the speed on the sign.

Yea, off-ramps, or really sharp corners on roads with relatively high speed limits typically have them. If its a really sharp corner on a road with a high speed limit that is fairly straight, sometimes they'll put up a huge reflective fluorescent yellow and black and white sign that gives you the recommended speed. Some of those you can more than double because they're mostly meant for semis.

Here's an example of a regular sign:
